Jameer Nelson (born February 9, 1982 in Chester, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic of the NBA. He is most famous for being one of the most popular stars of men's college basketball in the early 2000s, representing Saint Joseph's University of Philadelphia.
After playing four seasons at St. Joseph's College near his hometown of Chester, Pa., Jameer Nelson was drafted by the Denver Nuggets and immediately traded to the Orlando Magic in 2004. Also he get Jameer Nelson Jersey #14. As a senior in college, he was the National Player of the Year. He quickly became one of the leaders of the Magic as the starting point guard, teaming with center Dwight Howard to set a new course for the franchise.
